We strive to collect as little of your data as possible. In general we will only collect the data that is absolutely necessary to create an account or make the service work, and we will never sell your data. We also strive to never collect your financial data. Wherever practical, we will use in-app purchases for any premium content we offer. Not only is this easier for you, but it avoids the need for you to share your financial data with yet another business.
You should never have to wonder if an app has collected your personal data, and it should be easy to see any data that was collected. If any of our apps collect any of your personal data, you will be able to view all of your data, change most of it, and request that your data be deleted, all from within the app. (Viewing your data won't include anything you shared using social features of an app, but you will be reminded to review that information as well.) These features will be easy to find and as easy to use as we can make them.
Similarly, apps that do not collect any data will say so in the settings screen. Finally, apps that contain ads will not show personalized ads by default, though we may offer a way for you to opt in to personalized ads. If you have opted into personalized ads, it will say so in the settings screen, and you can easily opt out of personalized ads at any time.
